Use your current weapon as the baseline

Start with the weapon and armor you have, then identify the skill choices that support that setup in the current tree. An older screenshot is a reference, not proof that its path still exists.

Test survival before a damage upgrade

Repeat an encounter you know and watch where the plan fails. If you cannot recover from a mistake, compare a defensive choice before trading it for damage.

Avoid changing weapon, armor and skill points together. A single change makes your next test easier to interpret. These are testing suggestions, not a claim that a particular armor set is best.
